The surname Munde was first found in Kent where William atte Munte, Kent, 20 Edward I: Placita de Quo Warranto, temp. Edward I-III was recorded. Later in the Hundredorum Rolls of 1273, we found Walter Munte in Dorset and in Suffolk, Roger de Munt Feront was listed. 1
